Rachel Stuhlmann revealed her first thoughts on London upon her initial visit as she said the nightlife in the city was something she “loved”.

Dubbed the ‘world’s sexiest tennis influencer’, Stuhlmann ranks among the most popular sport influencers in the scene as she describes herself as the “No. 1 tennis influencer”, according to her Instagram bio.

Copious amounts of travel is part of Stuhlmann’s job and she was once tasked to travel to London to conduct interviews and it was a trip she certainly enjoyed as she explained why when speaking exclusively to Daily Star Sport.

“In 2018, I was asked to do some interviews with the players at the Queen’s Club tournament. So that was my first time I’d ever been to London. I loved it so much,” she said.

“The energy, vibe and people- everyone was so nice to me. I loved that tournament so much, I thought it was so cool how the courts were in the heart of West Kensington.”

Stuhlmann sadly didn’t get to enjoy the beginning of the Wimbledon due to having to travel to Budapest for more tennis work but nevertheless, she said it was a “special moment”.

“Seeing the grass courts and experiencing the quiet grounds right before the tournament started was a really special moment for me that I will never forget.

“The club was gorgeous. I also loved the night life in London. It was really fun to go out after the long days of work and meet people.”

Upon today’s (July 3) commencement of Wimbledon, the All England Club made strides towards a modern approach to dress codes as they allowed players to wear darker undershorts easing the anxiety around female period concerns.

The St Louis native spoke to Daily Star Sport about the rule change and said that it was “definitely necessary”.

“I think that this was definitely necessary and I’m glad this rule adjustment is finally in place.

“It’s never fun for a female athlete to worry or have anxiety about their period when competing, so I think it’s a great thing that Wimbledon is trying to help women feel more comfortable on court.”

It was met with positive responses from several female tennis stars, including 19-year-old Coco Gauff who spoke of her own experience of dealing with her period during a Grand Slam.

“I support it a lot. It’s going to be a big relief. I was on my period last year during Wimbledon and it was very stressful,” the American said.
