Why Posh and Becks’ youngest, Harper Beckham, is a style maven in the making

Victoria and David Beckham’s daughter Harper’s incredible style evolution: Posh and Becks’ youngest sports rare Nike sneakers, dons Prada and Louis Vuitton bags, and twins with sis-in-law Nicola Peltz

She may be the youngest member of the Beckham brood, but Harper Seven doesn’t suffer from being given hand me downs from her three older siblings. As the family’s only daughter – and with parents worth a combined US$450 million, per Celebrity Net Worth – quite the opposite is true.

Instead, she is often spotted in versions of Victoria Beckham designs that have been created especially for her, and seems to have one of the most impressive sneaker collections of any tween we know. She’s no stranger to designer bags either.

And despite the fact that she looks much older than her 12 years – a recent post on Instagram of her in Dallas ahead of her dad’s big Inter Miami game showed her looking more like a teenager – online commenters seem to approve of her personal style, pointing out that she always dresses her age, and is clearly allowed to be herself by her proud parents.

Here’s why Harper Seven Beckham is already winning in the style stakes …

She’s fond of long, floaty dresses

Harper is clearly a fan of maxi dresses – having declared the miniskirts her mum wore in her Spice Girls days to be unacceptably short according to Vogue Australia – and is already adept at incorporating colour into her wardrobe. One of her most vibrant looks to date? An ombré coral and blue Zimmerman dress reported to be worth just over US$2,000 that she wore for a night out in Venice with her dad, and paired with a US$730 pair of blue and white Nike Air Jordans.

She’s also fond of florals and has been spotted in a long flower-print dress by Bonpoint on more than one occasion, according to Dashin Fashion. The same French couturier designed the long dress and cape she wore for her baptism back in 2019.

More recently for her 12th birthday in July, she wore an ultra-pretty lilac slip dress with a flared hem from Urban Outfitters’ label Light Before Dark – but still looked every bit the cute kid in her Nike socks and limited edition trainers with huge bright purple laces.

She loves twinning with the fam

Harper’s fashion designer mum seems to love nothing more than creating smaller versions of her clothes for her daughter to wear to events. At Paris Fashion Week last October, Victoria’s mini-me daughter posed proudly alongside Gigi and Bella Hadid in a black gown with lace detailing that her mum had previously worn in purple, according to British media.

And the Spice Girl doesn’t stop there. Ahead of her Paris Fashion Week show this March, she dressed Harper in a chic, loose fitting black suit so she could match dad David’s look as they arrived together holding hands. Cuteness overload.

But when it comes to beauty styling, is the little Beckham taking inspo from her glamorous sister-in-law instead? Nicola Peltz Beckham marked Harper’s 12th birthday with a post showing Harper with a matching stick-on butterfly tattoo and the caption: “Happy birthday to my baby sis Harper 7. You are the most amazing girl I am so lucky to have you in my life. (Can we always match forever??)”.

The pair also wore matching wraparound sunglasses in another shot, and most recently, Hello! magazine speculated that Harper’s grown-up glazed chrome manicure on holiday in France was likely influenced by her sister-in-law too.

She already has an enviable handbag collection …

When you’re the daughter of one of the most famous footballers and pop stars in the world, it’s perhaps no surprise that you’ll get invited to some pretty high-profile events. And Harper clearly rose to the occasion at singer Marc Antony’s wedding to Nadia Ferreira in January when she accessorised with a gorgeous baby blue Prada Re-Edition Re-Nylon mini bag worth a cool US$1,195, according to Hello!.

Victoria clearly takes joy in her daughter’s love of designer handbags too, sharing several shots of Harper on her Instagram stories in June posing with a Takashi Murakami-inspired Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolour purse slung over her shoulder as she ate candyfloss.

… and an even more special sneaker collection

Perhaps the most impressive part of Harper Seven’s wardrobe is her sneaker collection, which contains several extremely rare Nike collabs – clearly her brand of choice.

Complementing her lilac birthday slip dress in July? A pair of ultra-rare Off-White trainers that were in fact the late Virgil Abloh’s first Nike Dunk collaboration from 2019, according to Hello! Magazine. Easily worth US$900 these days, only 50 pairs were ever made.

Around the same time, the same outlet reported that Harper’s unusual rainbow coloured Nike SB Dunk Low Sandy Bodecker sneaks were from the brand’s limited edition eBay x Nike collaboration.

One thing’s for sure, with this kind of access to the fashion world’s coolest clothes and accessories, Harper Beckham’s style influence will only grow with age.
