Red Lip Classic
Swift paired her flashy ensemble with some equally stunning makeup, including her staple red lipstick.
Working the Carpet
The singer worked the cameras from all angles in her eye-catching ensemble.
It’s All in the Details
Swift made sure to show off all the intricate details of her dress, including several draping jewels across the back.

Showing Support
As Swift made her way to the stage, she had the support of cinematographer Rina Yang, producer Saul Germaine, and actor Dylan O’Brien, whom she worked with on All Too Well: The Short Film. She also made sure to thank actress Sadie Sink, who starred in the short film with O’Brien, during her speech.
A Cute Reunion
Swift shared a cute moment with 2022 Video Vanguard Award winner Nicki Minaj as the rapper presented the singer the video of the year award.
The Beginning of a New Music Era
While accepting her award for video of the year, Swift made the surprise announcement that she plans on releasing a brand-new album in October.
“I had sort of made up my mind that if you were going to be this generous and give us this, I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand-new album comes out October 21st,” she told fans on stage.
History-Making Wins
After the show, Swift changed into a starry Moschino dress as she posed with her three awards from the night: best video, best direction, and best long form video.
With her wins, Swift became the fourth-most decorated ever in the history of the show. She also became the first artist to win video of the year three times, having previously taken home the award for “Bad Blood” (featuring Kendrick Lamar, 2015) and “You Need to Calm Down” (2019).
