Selena Gomez’s great Cannes Film Festival debut seemingly came to an end this afternoon, but the actress is leaving the French Riviera in style. Gomez’s friend Theresa Mingus shared a photograph of them posing in front of a helicopter. Mingus wore a print dress, while Gomez dressed down in a white tank top, jeans, and white sneakers. Consider it a fun little high-life flex: the two are taking a private jet after all, presumably to another luxurious place. “à l’autre!” Mingus captioned the shot, which is French for “to the other,” or in the sense Mingus intends for it, onto the next place.
Gomez made three big appearances during the Cannes Film Festival. She wore Louis Vuitton for the premiere of The Dead Don’t Die and the post-premiere dinner gala on Tuesday. On the carpet, she wore a white two-piece gown from the brand with a giant Bulgari necklace. At the gala, she switched into a white mini dress.
The next morning, Gomez attended the photo call for The Dead Don’t Die in Chanel. She made headlines that day for her comments about social media and why she believes it is so bad for young people.
“I think our world is going through a lot,” Gomez said during the press conference for the film, via Variety. “I would say for my generation, specifically, social media has really been terrible. It does scare me when you see how exposed these young boys and young girls are. They are not aware of the news. I think it’s dangerous for sure. I don’t think people are getting the right information sometimes.”
