Selena Gomez thinks men make a big mistake.
The star, who is promoting her song Single Soon, said that men often get her wrong.
‘I think I have standards, and I think I live in a world right now where boys confuse standards with high maintenance,’ the Let Somebody Go artist shared.
The lyrics in Single Soon include the line, ‘a little bit high maintenance, but I’m worth a try,’ and Selena agreed that description could refer to her.
‘The line was really fun because I’m not ashamed to say, “I actually require X, Y, and Z for you to be with me.”‘
‘So, in a way,’ she explained’ it was just meant to be for the attitude of the song. And that’s genuinely how I feel.’

‘And I just want to be happy with who I am so that whenever that person comes into my life I can just have them add on to me instead of being this insecure person that I normally used to be,’ the Ice Cream singer explained.

When asked to share their favorite memory from the past year, many fans and customers mentioned the Mental Health Summit the company hosted in May.
Selena and the brand founded the Rare Impact Fund, using one-percent of Rare Beauty sales to fund it, with the aim of raising $100 million over the next 10 years.
So far, they have been able to provide grants to organization such as, Mindful Life Project, Black Teacher Project, Konscious Youth Development & Service and Trans Lifeline, which provide mental health services.
Selena will host the first ever Rare Impact Fund Benefit in Los Angeles October 4.
