Selena Gomez has addressed those rumors that she is feuding with Dua Lipa after u unfollowing her on Instagram.
Shortly after the mishap, Selena did publicly support Dua as if to show that there was no ill will.
She posted a stunning photo in a Versace butterfly patterned dress with matching trunk with the caption: ‘A little Versace/Dua moment.’
Weeks ago Selena put to bed another feud as she happily supported Miley Cyrus’ upcoming single, Used To Be Young, after announcing that she is also dropping new music the same day.
The Wolves hitmaker who revealed she is releasing ‘a fun little song’ earlier on Thursday, took to her Instagram stories on Friday to find the humor that both stars will be dropping tracks next week on August 25.
The Rare Beauty founder shared a clip from a Hannah Montana episode where she portrayed Cyrus’ rival, Mikayla Skeech, on the hit Disney channel series.
She also added text underneath the video, and wrote to her 427 million fans and followers, ‘@mileycyrus and I both have a SINGLE SOON and we are releasing on the same day.’
‘We have been friends since we USED TO BE YOUNG,’ Gomez added, referencing to title of Miley’s single. ‘Excited for August 25th!!!’
The Flowers songstress also took to her own Instagram stories to repost the same clip and added a message of her own, as well as a hilarious meme.
Cyrus also penned at the bottom, ‘@selenagomez and I are both dropping our new SINGLEs SOON….’ also referencing to the current name of Selena’s upcoming track. ‘I SAY WE #USEDTOBEYOUNG.’
On August 24, the Only Murders In The Building actress took to social media and surprised fans when she revealed that she would be dropping new music later.
She shared a snap of herself striking a pose while sporting a purple-colored, feathery jacket as well as a glittering pink minidress. Her makeup was glammed up as she sat inside a vehicle while a pink light shone down on her.
‘Y’all have been asking for new music for a while. Since I’m not quiet done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer.’
Gomez excitedly concluded the post by adding, ‘SINGLE SOON. August 25th. Presave it now,’ followed by a kissing face emoji.
On Instagram, she also included a series of other photos as she teased fans of the upcoming summer hit. One snap showed the singer wearing the same ensemble as she sent a cheerful smile towards the camera with two other stars.
Selena additionally added polaroid images of herself glancing over her shoulder while wearing the eye-catching, hot pink dress, as well as a rack full of fashionable pieces.
The beauty also included a snap of an assortment of items placed on a floor, such as a game remote that had a post-it note on top that read, ‘I’m sorry. I can’t. Don’t hate me.’
The note referenced to a Sex And The City episode when Carrie Bradshaw was broken up with Jack Berger on a post-it note with the same message.
Single Soon – which has been produced by Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat – comes after the release of her hit remix, Calm Down, with Rema last year in 2022.
Just one hour after Gomez announced that she was releasing new music, Miley also revealed to the world that her latest single, Used To Be Young, which dropped on August 25th as well.
The Wrecking Ball hitmaker shared a clip as she strolled towards the camera with minimal lighting on what appeared to be a stage set.
As she got closer to the camera along with slowly building instrumental music in the background, the star could be seen wearing a Disney shirt, referencing to her days working with the channel.
