Gigi Hadid turns heads in an intricate gold beaded sari while Zendaya looks glam in a blue gown as they lead stars at a cultural centre launch in Mumbai
Gigi Hadid and Zendaya looked effortlessly glamorous as they led the stars at the launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai on Saturday.
The supermodel, 27, made sure to capture attention in a gold ensemble while actress Zendaya, 26, looked equally as elegant as they arrived at the Jio World Centre.
Gigi turned heads in an extravagant gold sari, made up of a sparkling beaded top and woven silk fabric adorned with sequins and intricate stitching.
She added a few extra inches in a pair of pointed heels and accessorised her statement look with an array of bangles and chunky gold earrings.
The Next In Fashion judge accentuated her natural beauty with a high-glamour make-up palette and swept her golden locks back into a sleek up-do.
She was joined at the star-studded event by Zendaya, who showed off her incredible figure in a one-shouldered navy ensemble.
Her statement gown boasted a blue bra adorned with beaded gold birds and a dramatic sheer train and skirt featuring colourful floral designs around the hem.
She accessorised her bold outfit with sparkling silver bangles and silver earrings as she posed up a storm at the glitzy affair.
The Euphoria star styled her brunette tresses in a glamorous low-bun and bolstered her striking features with a shimmering gold eyeshadow palette.
Zendaya was seen posing with Law Roach after he recently shocked the fashion world when he announced his retirement, saying ‘the politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me’.
‘My Cup is empty….. thank you to everyone who’ve supported me and my career over the years. Every person that trusted me with their image, I’m so grateful for you all,’ he wrote in a social media post.
‘If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not!’ he added. ‘The politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me! You win … I’m out.’
Elsewhere, Zendaya’s boyfriend Tom Holland was also in attendance, but was seen posing separately to his girlfriend upon his arrival at the event.
The Spiderman actor, 26, cut a suave figure in a black tuxedo and patent suit shoes, while he styled his brunette locks in a natural curled style.
The loved-up couple were seen arriving at Mumbai Airport together on Friday ahead of the star-studded event.
Zendaya and Tom met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, but they denied rumours of a relationship for a long time.
They were then spotted sharing a kiss in Tom’s car in July 2021 and have been going strong ever since but are very private about their romance.
But in a rare move, Tom recently gushed over Zendaya’s look for the NAACP Image Awards, taking to her comment section and leaving three heart-eyed emoji’s.
It comes after Us Weekly reported that the actress and her beau are in ‘settling-down mode.’
A source also said the couple ‘are absolutely planning for a real future together’.
Elsewhere at the launch in Mumbai, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were seen looking as loved-up as ever.
The actress, 40, made sure to capture attention in a very extravagant ensemble as she posed arm-in-arm with her husband Nick, 30.
She put on a very leggy display in a strapless gown with a shimmering purple bandeau and a floating silk multicoloured patterned skirt.
Priyanka gave herself a few extra inches in a pair of sequinned purple stilettos and accessorised her ensemble with a silver jewelled choker necklace.
She styled her glossy brunette tresses loosely across her shoulders in glamorous waves and bolstered her striking features with lashings of mascara.
The former Bollywood star put on a very cosy display with her husband, who cut a smart figure in smart trousers and a black T-shirt.
The Jonas Brothers star completed his ensemble with a pair of patent suit shoes and swept a smart black jacket across his shoulders.
Their latest outing comes after Priyanka revealed that she was originally wary about dating Nick because of their 10-year age gap.
She shared that Nick had messaged her on social media two years before they started dating but she was worried about getting involved with someone so much younger than her.
Speaking on the Armchair Expert podcast, she explained: ‘I didn’t want to engage as much at the time… I was also like 35, Nick was 25.’
She added: ‘I really put a stop to it in a way because I judged the book by the cover. I said, “I wanna settle down. I have been there and done the fun dating things. was like ready to get serious”.’
After first getting a message from Nick via Twitter back in 2016, they went on to meet in person a year later in 2017 and ended up keeping in touch via text.
However, Priyanka said she was still reluctant to jump into another relationship because she was worried about making the same dating ‘mistakes’ again.
She added: ‘I kept making the same mistakes. A lot of the pattern in my relationships was me feeling gaslit because I gave that kind of power to the people that I was with, where I was like, “You come first”.’
But in May 2018, the couple started dating and they tied the knot in India in December 2018. They welcomed daughter Malti Marie via surrogate in 2022.
