With temperatures rising and spring finally here, many of us in the United States have been taking advantage of the warm weather and getting outside. In today’s edition of “Stars, they’re just like us,” Death on the Nile actress Gal Gadot has shared a little fun in the sun action with her Instagram followers. In a post that you can see below, Gadot, who is no stranger to dazzling us in everything from dresses to swimwear, can be seen taking in those early summer rays in an eye-catching outfit.

Lounging in a sunchair, the image captures a bright moment in the Wonder Woman star’s life that sees her wearing a vibrant pair of big red pants and a light and flowy blue ʙuттon-up shirt. In two pH๏τos, Gal Gadot’s smile is more blinding than the sun as the Red Notice actress works on her tan. Of course, wearing some very cool shades, Gadot pulls the warm-weather look together with a pair of oversized black sunglᴀsses.

It’s been a big year for the DC star with lots of ups and downs surrounding her long-running appearance as Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman. After portraying the character in the 2017 films Wonder Woman and Justice League, and receiving a standalone sequel via 2020’s Wonder Woman 1984, the recent DC Studios takeover by Peter Safran and James Gunn is throwing a wrench in a lot of plans, including where the Wonder Woman franchise will go next. Legendary director Patty Jenkins (Monster) parted ways with the studio late last year after disagreements about her vision of the continuation leaving a large and unclear gap in what we can expect to see happen next.

At least Gal Gadot isn’t completely alone in the shakeup over at DC Studios with her fellow Justice League member, Henry Cavill also finding himself abruptly cut from the universe. After playing Superman for a decade, things got dicey between Cavill, Safran, and Gunn with the former two shifting away from Cavill’s take on the Man of Steel. While more stories surrounding the last son of Krypton are on the way, Cavill isn’t expected to appear in any of them with a younger actor being eyed to tell more of an origin story in Superman: Legacy.

Although her next steps with DC are hazy, audiences can still expect to spot Gal Gadot in several projects set to drop over the next year. With a release date set for August 11, 2023, the actress’ next project will see her as a spy in Tom Harper’s action thriller, Heart of Stone. Leading a cast that also includes Fifty Shades of Grey franchise star Jamie Dornan and RRR’s Alia Bhatt, Gadot stars as a CIA agent tasked with holding the world together.

Taking a turn towards the dark side, Gal Gadot was cast as the Evil Queen in Marc Webb’s live-action take on Disney’s classic animated musical film, Snow White. Penned by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson, the adaptation will see Gadot starring alongside Rachel Zegler, who leads as Snow White. As of right now, the film is due out on March 22, 2024.
