Emily Ratajkowski Bares Her Buns To Announce It’s ‘Game Over’
Emily Ratajkowski announced it was “game over” while ushering in another Hot Girl Summer back in 2019.
The supermodel posed for a jaw-dropping swimsuit snap shared to her Inamorata brand’s Instagram that year, marking the end of Spring and urging fans to shop her merch now that it was summer.
Baring her buns as she rocked an impossibly high-cut, thong swimsuit, Emily sizzled as she flaunted her Amazonian figure in an ’80s look, and fans went wild. Emily founded her swimwear and lingerie line in 2017. By 2019, the hip label was already approaching cult status.
‘Game Over’ In Cheeky Swimsuit

Opting for a summery shade of yellow, the 32-year-old modeled a backless, halterneck swimsuit in a bold color, drawing the eye to her curvy hips and mile-long legs while also flaunting her tiny waist.

Flicking her long, curled hair around as she turned her head to face the camera, Emily completed her look via white socks with pops of yellow on them, plus a white pair of sneakers for a sporty finish. The mom of one went full-on with heavy makeup that shouted out the bronzer-heavy trend from the ’80s decade, also rocking large hoop earrings, plus a glossy lip to enhance her full coverage cosmetics.
“Game over, summer 2019. Shop now,” a caption read. “BEST,” a fan quickly replied. “Reminds me of every poster & magazine in my older cousins’s room when we were teens,” another said, clearly noting the retro vibe.
Eyeing Up Thong Year For 2024
Emily has since made headlines for dropping new merch to welcome 2024, and it looks like the My Body author wants this year to be a thong one. In November of last year, the model shared the above video as she flaunted her peachy rear and toned muscles while stripped to a minuscule, burnt orange thong. Baring her backside as she told fans that “we decided to lean in. all new styles coming soon,” Emily swooped into her own comments, writing: “Thongs only 2024.”
Are They Fans Or ‘Data?’
Emily has made no secret of her incredible business mind.
“What’s great about having followers, and people signing up for our email is that we get a lot of data on those customers and their shopping tendencies. I have been running Emrata for quite a long time now and have a pretty good understanding of what my followers respond to. It’s about building that out. But what’s really fun about it is there’s no calendar—we’re not relying on anybody else, except our own information and our customer,” she told Forbes.
Emily is not alone in the celebrity swimwear space. She faces competition from the likes of Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner.
