Nice, but why for shein? They treat people like slaves,” one fan commented. “Love your hair! I hope Shein is making better quality products now and creating a better situation for their workers,” another follower commented. “Well, they’re not,” another fan chimed in. “Unfollowed after years. Can’t handle this shein collab,” another follower wrote.

“There is so much documentation and proof of how horrific Shein is for the environment (ie animals) and their despicable working conditions. The only way for companies likes this to be held responsible is to refuse sponsorships and stop buying from them. This is horrible,” another fan commented.

“Shein? For real? Okay, now I lost my last bit of respect for her. This is incredibly disgusting,” another fan wrote. “Same! I actually liked her before this,” another follower chimed in. “What about the landfills and child labor? No? Nobody cares because the bikinis are cute and you got a brand deal? Gotcha,” another fan shared. “I thought you had better morals than shein. This is disappointing,” another follower wrote.

“Oh man not shein, anything but please. They test dyes on animals, they enslave children for labor paying them almost nothing in horrible conditions. This is what selling your soul is. Nice one,” another user chimed in. “Shein is an awful brand! Seems like money has completely made you lose all your morals,” another follower commented.

In an Instagram post announcing the collaboration, the British model said that SHEIN would donate a portion of the profits to charity, but fans still remain unconvinced. “We have been closely working together on this campaign for a while now so to finally share with you guys is,” she wrote in the caption. “I am excited to also announce that we will be donating a percentage of profits to a charity which I’ll be announcing soon.”

“Em there are so many people in the comments that are truly just looking out for your best interest; if you’re not already aware of the horrific implications of this company please research! nothing, not even your own collab with this shein is worth it when you’re supporting the immoral treatment, and severe underpayment of employees,” another user commented. “Slave labor is no joke, I hope you realize that supporting shein means supporting inhumanity. please do better.”
