David Beckham enjoyed a fun-filled day of activities with his son Cruz on Friday as they went paddleboarding off the coast of Island Lopud in Croatia.

The former footballer had been enjoying a lavish yacht trip with his wife Victoria, 49, and their youngest children Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12.

On Friday, Victoria took to Instagram to document their family getaway, sharing a sweet picture of her and David packing on the PDA.

And David and Cruz took some time away from the yacht as they larked about on a paddleboard and a fliteboard – an electrically powered surfboard.

David showed off his muscular frame and tattooed chest as he went shirtless in black shorts while practicing his skills on a paddleboard.

David continued to show off his buzzcut after he returned to his short hairstyle earlier this month – a look reminiscent of his 2000s Manchester United days.

He also cheered on his son Cruz, who sported red boardshorts, as he attempted to stay on his feet on a fliteboard.

His daughter Harper was also seen swimming in the sea as they spent some quality time together during the sun-soaked getaway.

Victoria and David’s eldest sons Brooklyn, 24, and Romeo, 20, were not present on the family holiday.

Victoria also took to Instagram on Saturday to give an insight into their family holiday, sharing a sweet snap with her husband David.

In the selfie, the couple proved they were as loved-up as ever as they packed on the PDA by sharing a kiss in front of a picturesque sunset.

Victoria also shared a snap where she looked as glamorous as ever in a black mini dress as she cuddled up to David on their lavish yacht.

David cut a casual figure in red board shorts and a black T-shirt, which he styled with a dark baseball cap.

Victoria also posted a sweet picture of David sharing a hug with their daughter Harper, while the fashion designer also posed with their youngest child.

Other snaps in the gallery included one of Cruz playing the guitar and one of David showing off his toned figure as he lounged on the boat.

Alongside the snaps, Victoria penned: ‘Family time is everything. Happy weekend, kisses from us all xxxx I love u @davidbeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven Miss u @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham.’

It comes after David gave an insight into their balmy family getaway as he shared an array of snaps from the trip on his Instagram Stories on Friday.

In one picture, David went shirtless in a pair of green Adidas sports while topping up his tan on their sun-soaked holiday.

In another snap, he wore a white shirt unbuttoned to give a flash of his tattooed chest, while he accessorised with a silver pendant.

He poked fun at his new look in a caption as he jokingly asked his wife Victoria if she likes it, before admitting it was ‘a little late’ if she doesn’t.

He wrote: ‘Summer cut @victoriabeckham do u approve? A little late if not.’

As well as an array of selfies, David shared a video of himself and Cruz both posing like Superman as they pretended to fly through the air as the boat sped along.

He also shared a sweet snap of his daughter Harper as they enjoyed a family lunch out, and penned alongside the picture: ‘Growing up too fast.’

In a final snap on his Stories, the Inter Miami co-owner also poked fun at his wife as he took a sly photograph of Victoria sleeping with a hat over her face.

He cheekily wrote alongside the snap: ‘@victoriabeckham, that’s my hat.’

David has been showing off his new hairstyle in recent days after turning back time by buzzing off his locks earlier this month.

The star has worked his way through a plethora of hairstyles during his time in the public eye, from a mohawk, to cornrows and bleached blonde hair.

Debuting his latest look on Instagram, he gave a serious pose as he snapped a selfie of his new look, which harked back to his 2000s Manchester United days.

Captioning the picture, he penned: ‘Nothing much changes, get bored of my hair, chop it off’, in a move that comes after he gave an interview about his hairstyles and admitted he is most embarrassed by his 2003 cornrows.

Earlier this year, David spoke about his best and worst haircuts – reflecting on his Mohawk and cornrows in particular.

The former footballer revealed the only one he regrets – his cornrows, which he wore ahead of a meeting with Nelson Mandela in 2003.

The sportsman decided to get them done while on holiday in France but regretted his decision when he met the late South African politician, admitting it would today be described as ‘cultural appropriation’.

According to The Sun, he explained: ‘We were there with family and one of Victoria’s friends who is a hairdresser.

‘I asked if she could do something with my hair and she said, “Do you want cornrows?” and I said, “Yeah. I don’t know what they are. But yeah”.

‘It was painful having them done but I liked them.

‘People ask if I have any regrets about my hairstyles and while I don’t regret any of them, I do sort of regret the cornrows.

‘I had them put in on the Saturday and on the Monday I flew to South Africa with the England team for a match.

‘I got to meet the greet Nelson Mandela. And the picture that I’ve got of Nelson Mandela is me holding his hand with cornrows in my hair. That’s my only regret.’

He said his most controversial look was his iconic mohawk – which caused the most trouble in 2000 when his then-Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson told him to shave it off in the changing room as soon as he saw it.

Speaking to English football coach Gary Neville, David explained: ‘It lasted until the gaffer saw it and he made me shave it in the changing room.’
