Victoria Beckham shares adorable moment husband David and daughter Harper sing along to Sir Elton John at his last London gig

David Beckham and his daughter Harper put on an adorable display as they sung along with Sir Elton John at his final gig at the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday.

The former footballer, 48, could be seen with Harper, 11, as they rocked backwards and forwards in their seats at the venue, dancing to Elton’s 1972 hit Crocodile Rock as he sung it live.

Harper could be seen smiling as she flung her arms around her father’s shoulder, with David showing off his falsetto voice as he sung along to the chorus.

Taking to Instagram, his fashion designer wife Victoria, 49, shared a clip of the pair, with the former Spice Girl writing: ‘Wait for it…… I love you so much @davidbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @cruzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham #harperseven Final show in London we love you @eltonjohn x.’

Sir Elton, 76, performed the last of his shows at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday, with the star retiring from gigging after Goodbye Yellow Brick Road tour in July.

The musician confirmed earlier this month he would ‘not be going on tour again’ after his current series of shows ends in Stockholm, Sweden on July 8.

He admitted he is looking forward to ‘a little bit of freedom’ following being away from his husband David Furnish and two children Zach, 12, and Elijah, eight.

The hitmaker said: ‘Touring is exhausting for me now, and it takes me away from my family and my children.’

Sir Elton will occasionally play shows such as the Emmy promotion evening in Los Angeles to promote his new Disney plus show Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium.

The pop legend’s tour is already the most lucrative in history, earning £678million so far.

The previous record for the most money earned on a music tour was held by artist Ed Sheeran’s Divide tour, which he held for four years but was topped in January by Sir Elton.

Meanwhile, it has emerged Sir Elton will be joined by mystery guests during his Glastonbury headline slot.

The Tiny Dancer singer will headline the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm, Somerset, next month, with Queens of the Stone Age, Skepta and The Chemical Brothers also on the festival bill.

He told DJ Scott Mills in a BBC Radio 2 chat on Tuesday about his Glasto appearance: ‘It’s the first time I’ve been asked… it’s come at the right time, I’m a great believer in serendipity and fate and it’s the most wonderful way to sign off in England.

‘I’ve got guests and I can’t tell you who they are.’

Sir Elton – who also confirmed during the interview he will feature on previous Glasto headliner Dolly Parton’s new album – has collaborated with a huge range of acts, and his most recent album, 2021’s The Lockdown Sessions, is packed with appearances from A-list music stars including Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, and Stevie Nicks.

Elton, added about his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which launched in 2018 and experienced numerous delays due to the pandemic: ‘It’s been everything I’d hoped it would be and more… it’s been better than I could ever have imagined it to be… I float off the stage into oblivion.

‘I’m happy, I’m happy in my personal life and my professional life, everything in my life is so wonderful.

‘So I think that’s why the performances really satisfy me.’

When asked what his ideal life will be after he finishes touring, Elton replied: ‘Everything is up in the air… boys go back to school… piano won’t go away forever… it’ll be very sporadic, I really don’t want to tour again…

‘I’m not going back to Vegas.’
