Charlie Sheen’s daughter Sami Sheen poses in a bikini… two months after the teen said living with mom Denise Richards was ‘hell’ and ‘abusive’

Sami Sheen, the oldest daughter of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, appears to be living her best life after moving in with her father and leaving behind her mother Denise Richards’ ‘hell house.’

Lounging at The Beverly Hilton Hotel with a friend, the 17-year-old posted multiple poolside bikini snaps for her Instagram followers.

While sipping on a drink and wearing a fun heart print bikini, Sami seemed to put her recent family woes behind her.

In a new set of images, Sami is seen posing and laughing with a friend, and later having dinner and snacking on cotton candy.

Sami’s happy demeanor in the photos is a far cry from September, when the budding model shocked her TikTok fans by posting a video in which she labelled her mother’s home an ‘abusive household.’

In the video – which has now been set to private – she lets her followers know that her life has changed a lot over the last year.

Sami, who prior to moving in with her father had been living with her actress mother and stepfather Aaron Phypers, showed emotional footage of herself crying while describing her dire circumstances: ‘1 year ago today: trapped in an abusive household, hated myself, would go days without eating or sleeping, insanely depressed, hated school, etc.’

The footage then cut to the teenager smiling alongside the caption: ‘Now: finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy single, full of self love, and dropped out of high school :).’

Although the teen didn’t specify any particular issues with her previous home, a source claimed that the root of the problem were her mother’s rules.

‘Denise set normal rules that any parent would be setting. She’s a mom and a parent and there are rules. Sami didn’t want to follow the rules.’

Meanwhile, Charlie’s more laid-back parenting style seems to work much better for his daughter. ‘Charlie didn’t support implementing Denise’s rules. He has a different way of parenting and Sami decided to live with her dad.’

Sami’s shocking allegations didn’t come out of nowhere. In July, the teen posted a video claiming that her mom tried to kick her out of the house.

Denise also touched on the subject of her parenting struggles, and her rebellious teenage daughter, during one of the episodes on the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

She said: ‘I’m struggling with parenting right now with my teenagers. Sami, I think sometimes she does things hoping to get a reaction out of me. It’s not easy.’

Although Richards is said to be ‘saddened’ by the situation, the former Two and a Half Men actor is embracing the changes and confirmed that his 17-year-old offspring has moved into his home and dropped out of high school.

Charlie told Us Weekly magazine via his representative Jeff Ballard: ‘Sam’s amazing. I love her and all my children unconditionally. We’re having a ball. GED here we come.’

Sheen also shares 16-year-old daughter Lola with Denise, and is a father to Cassandra 36, and twins Bob and Max, 12, from previous relationships.

In another clip from RHOBH, Richards gave viewers a glimpse into her marriage to Sheen, which was tumultuous. ‘A lot of people have an impression of me being wild and crazy, but Charlie was sober when we got married, so we were not this swinging couple that people might assume. We weren’t.’

Denise recalled that ‘things started to change rapidly’ while she was pregnant with Lola. ‘It was a very dark time, very toxic, and I filed for divorce when I was six months pregnant with her. I did whatever I could to hide Charlie’s behavior.’

The actress would explain Sheen’s absence by telling her daughters he was working. ‘How do you tell kids what’s really going on? I would say, ‘Dad had to go to work, but he loves you so much. He wants to be there for you girls.’

Richards has tried to keep her relationship with Sheen as amicable as possible for the sake of their children. “Even though he’s Charlie Sheen, that is still, to them, their dad,” she said.

She has also kept mostly silent about his wild reputation in order to protect the girls. ‘I never talk badly about him and I want him to be part of their lives because I met a lot of the women that Charlie entertained and a lot of them had father-daughter issues. And I do not want that to be our girls.’

Sheen and Richards split in 2005 when she was pregnant with Lola and finalized their divorce in 2006.

Denise married Aaron Phypers in 2018. Together, they share 10-year-old adopted daughter Eloise Joni.

In 2019, Sheen filed a petition to change the child support arrangement between him and Richards.

The actor’s attorney, Gregory Pedrick, claimed that Sheen had ‘overpaid’ Richards on his child support, but that he is not looking to receive repayment.

Thanks to Sami’s move, Sheen’s child support payments to Richards have now been adjusted to ‘zero dollars a month’ by LA judge Alexander Giza.

Richards did not attend the court hearing.
