Bella Hadid suffers wardrobe malfunction at Cannes gala

Her Cannes red carpet looks often have one thing in comment – wardrobe malfunctions.

Thursday evening was no exception for as she headed to the glitzy amfAR Gala Cannes 2017 at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc during the annual film festival – where she sported not one, but two lingerie-flashing ensembles.

The 20-year-old first rocked a sheer white number by Ralph and Russo with intricate adornments, yet the perilous slash on the gown flashed her lingerie – shortly before she changed into a golden gown – and suffered exactly the same fate.

Last year, Bella stole the show at the Unknown Girl premiere on 18 May 2016 as she sported the red gown which showed off her endless legs, perky cleavage and ultimately her lingerie when she unwittingly flashed the world’s press.

She admitted after the appearance that wearing the gown was ‘a bit scary’ yet she was delighted to have ‘so much nice feedback which was exciting.’

It seems Bella got the bug for baring all, as her first amfAR look was possibly the sauciest to date as she sizzled in the racy getup – complete with a boned corset, modesty-protecting nude underwear and a perilous slash.

The acres of sheer material building up the train and the delicate yet stunning beadwork complete with jewels and sequins being the only detail atop the totally sheer body and waist-enhancing corset.

Her perky bust was on display for the entire red carpet, with her assets flattered and enhanced by the stiff shape of the top of the gown.

One strap of the gown sat on her slender shoulder, while the other cascaded neatly off her frame to best flaunt even more skin.

Despite becoming something of a connoisseur in risque splits, she still seemed to battle with the racy slash which showed off the entirety of her leg.

She added height to her already staggering stature with the addition of silver heels complete with a racy tie at the ankle.

Bella scraped her raven tresses into a tight bun pulled into a taut chignon at the top of her head to make the most of her pretty features and flawless bone structure.

Her make-up was minimal – no doubt to provide full impact of the gown – as she smudged a silver eyeliner in the corner of her eyes and a pink gloss on her lip.

When she partied inside, Bella felt less that inhibited as she generously shared out champagne among her pals.

Bella is certainly becoming the queen of the racy red carpet looks, although she admitted with her first foray into her saucy Cannes vibes was a struggle.

After the furore over last year’s look, Bella, who is younger sister to Gigi, told Glamour magazine: ‘I’m usually very simple with my red carpet looks – I tend to just wear black – so this was a big risk. I was sort of scared about it, but I’ve had so much nice feedback which was exciting.’

Calling the gown the ‘riskiest thing’ she’ll wear in a while, Bella added that she would probably ‘tone down’ her next few outfits.

And when asked how she navigated the tricky problem of underwear – commentators speculated that she might have gone commando – Bella revealed that she was actually wearing an extremely high-waisted leotard.
