Reality star Abbey Humphreys is reflecting on Netflix’s “Perfect Match” while rocking a red drawstring bikini!

The “Twentysomethings” reality star appeared on the new Netflix reality dating show and made it clear that she was single and ready to mingle… with both girls and guys!

After going on a date and locking lips with “Too Hot To Handle” hottie Francesca Farago, Abbey later matched with Bartise from season 3 of “Love Is Blind.” That relationship quickly fizzled out and Abbey left the show, but not before making her feelings known in the show’s finale.

In her latest Instagram post, the Netflix reality star shared a whole Instagram carousel full of photos that featured her having fun on the set of “Perfect Match.” The first photo that kicked off the Instagram carousel was a shot of her posing in a bright red drawstring bikini, teasing the sun tattoo on her hip.

In the caption, Abbey teased, “The real prize was the friendships we made along the way or whatever.” In the comments, she added, “Also RIP to my tan. That Panamanian UV had me glowing,” referring to the show, which was filmed in Panama.

Francesca dropped two red heart emojis on the post while her “Perfect Match” costar and “Too Hot To Handle” season 3 contestant Izzy Fairthorne wrote “Tooo right.” Abbey called Izzy a “cutie girl.” It seems that the two don’t have any bad blood, even though Bartise ended up choosing Izzy over Abbey.

Abbey ended up being the only contestant who was matched with a same-sex partner, which created a devoted fanbase who felt that she was treated unfairly by the show and her other cast members. “One thing I want to say. I felt for you this show and felt you were treated unfairly in regard to your sexuality,” one fan commented. “Just because you’re newly exploring same sex relationships, doesn’t mean you have to be less sensitive or give up personal boundaries.”

Although things were going well between Abbey and Francesca at first, things took a turn for the worse when Francesca started making out with her best friend Kariselle in the pool. Abbey was “uncomfortable” with it and tried to voice her concerns to Francesca, who didn’t seem to understand why her action made her uncomfortable.

“This idea that if you’re gay then you have to be ok with your partner kissing another woman is so harmful (I know you weren’t fully in a relationship with Fran but yeah),” the fan went on to say. “Then, I want people to be open about their sex life! But that same person who gets to be open about what they like and not shamed, shouldn’t be shaming others who don’t have that same experience or don’t want it.”

“Two guys on there did sex shame Fran- it’s not a red flag to be poly,” they went on. “I didn’t like that they insinuated that. But she shouldn’t have been shaming others for their difference in opinions on sex and relationships. Lastly, it was unfair that she used your sensitivity as an excuse, you’re allowed to be sensitive and have boundaries.”

“But then she also tacked onto that, that you’re uncomfortable in your sexuality. Maybe you are, maybe you aren’t. But you still get to be sensitive and you still get to set boundaries,” they continued. “You still have the right to talk about those boundaries without being shamed. I was always unsure about you in Twenty Something’s—now I f—ing love you.”

“I hope since filming/things we didn’t see that occurred have offered you more support, hope you’ve gotten to explore yourself however that looks to you, hope you’re doing well, and hope any queer person watching this show doesn’t feel shame from some of these comments/scenarios,” they concluded. “Oh, last thing- Damien likes Fran kissing other girlies- but he wouldn’t like it if she kissed a man in front of him- not cool dude. Dudes sexualizing us bisexuals yay ew.”

Fans had a lot of strong reactions to the user’s lengthy comment, with one fan saying, “Thank you for this. I was so triggered.” Another follower replied, “I think a lot of people were; I hate it so much. It’s not cool!”

“100% this. As a bisexual woman who primarily dates women, I was so upset at how bisexuality was treated on the show. Abbey completely had the right to be upset that Francesca was making out with another girl and I think it’s bull— that Francesca gaslighted her into feeling bad about it,” another follower commented. “Lesbian relationships don’t exist to titillate men and I’m sick of bisexual women treating same-sex relationships as a fun fad.”

Fans are hoping that Netflix will show better representation in “Perfect Match” season 2. A sophomore season of the Netflix dating show has yet to be confirmed, of course, but fans have their fingers crossed!
