David Beckham put on a very suave display as he got behind the wheel of a lavish Maserati for a new advert.
The former footballer, 47, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a glimpse at his new advert with the luxury car brand.
In the video, he drove a bright yellow Maserati GranTurismo and flashed a grin as he got into a chase with another sports car from the Italian manufacturer.
He cut a smart figure in a white T-shirt and a navy zip-up jacket and styled his brunette locks in a slicked back style.
The car lover sported a well-groomed beard and looked serious as he frowned through the windscreen while speeding along in the car.
David could also be seen behind the wheel of the second sports car, revealing the two vehicles were both being driven by the Salford City co-owner.
At the end of the advert, the yellow Maserati parked alongside a grey version of the vehicle as the two David’s grinned at each other.
The tagline then flashed across the screen, reading: ‘From you to a new you.’
Sharing the advert to his Instagram, David captioned his post: ‘If one of me wasn’t enough… loved shooting the new GranTurismo with @maserati.’
The V6 turbo petrol-powered Maserati GranTurismo can reach speeds of up to 199mph and will be priced at around £200,00, according to reports.
David has worked with a slew of lucrative partnerships with various different brands over the years and has been partnered with Maserati for just more than two years.
He owns a Maserati MC20, which he designed himself, and has starred in a string of promotional videos for the brand.
David previously said of designing the car: ‘I have always been a car enthusiast. It has been incredible to collaborate with the Maserati team and designers to create this one-off car that is inspired by my second home, Miami, and my football club. It is a joy to be behind the wheel.’
He has long been passionate about cars and was one of the first people to have a Lincoln Navigator shipped out of the US to the UK during his time as a Manchester United player.
He purchased the gas-guzzling 5.4 litre V8 engine vehicle in 2000 and was regularly seen driving it to the team’s Carrington training ground, until he sold it three years later.
The co-owner of Inter Miami CF particularly has a longtime love for American cars and purchased a valuable collection of luxury US motors when he joined LA Galaxy.
David now has a lavish fleet of fast American cars and last year bought his son Brooklyn a vintage $500,000 Jaguar as a wedding present.
He is also an investor of restoration company Lunaz which electrified and re-engineered the 1954 Jaguar XK140, having taken a a 10 perc ent stake in June 2021.
