David Beckham has revealed his secret friendship with Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg as the pair went on holiday together in Canada, where they “laughed a lot and drank a little”
David Beckham has revealed his close friendship with a Hollywood movie star as he took a trip to Canada.
The former professional footballer, 47, has been having the time of his life in Miami with wife Victoria, 48, and their kids on their 93.5ft yacht, named Seven.
Taking a moment away from family time, however, the dad-of-four ventured on a mini trip to spend time with his famous pals as he shared a snap of himself dressed in a white T-shirt, looking chuffed as he posed for a group snap.
And his legion of 74.9million Instagram fans were quick to spot BAFTA Award-winning actor Mark Wahlberg, 51, among the pack.
The Ted actor smiled for the camera in a matching top to David’s, with his sunglasses, clipped onto his T-shirt’s neckline.
David captioned the snap: “Great few days in Muskoka with family and friends . wow what a place and yes we laughed a lot & drank a little @markwahlberg @jamiejsalter @tie_domi THE BEST.”
Mark then replied: “What a place,” with a Canadian flag emoji, before he added: “what A time,” with a red heart emoji and a crying with laughter emoji.
David, who is often spotted out with his famous pals and last year was seen fist bumping Tom Cruise during Euro 2020, had been spending summer with his family in America, before jetting off to Canada.
Earlier in the week, David’s wife Victoria was seen in a personalised dressing gown, as she took time to chill on the family’s yacht.
The yacht has been aptly named Seven, after the former England player’s shirt number – and it’s also the middle name of their daughter.
Last week, it was revealed David and Victoria Beckham have cashed in more than £11million in a year – doubling their profits.
Annual accounts prove “Brand Beckham” is still a soaring success – 23 years since they married.
To celebrate their hard work, the couple took out £15m and paid £2.5m in tax. It’s believed the Beckhams are thought to be worth around £339m altogether.
Their global brand empire has gone from strength-to-strength as the power couple continue to forge ahead with their joint business interests.
Brand Beckham Holdings showed on Companies House this week that the pair made a massive £11.6m in the 12 months to the end of December 2020 – compared to £4.5m in 2019.
A report said that much of the cash was brought in from David’s lucrative tie-ins with big-name firms and his MLS football team Inter Miami CF.
