David Beckham shows off sweet palm tattoo designed by Harper aged 4 at Wimbledon
David Beckham proudly displayed a palm tattoo designed by his daughter Harper when she was aged just four as he made an appearance at this year’s Wimbledon, just days before her 11th birthday
David Beckham has once again given fans a blast from the past as he showed off the adorable palm tattoo designed by his daughter Harper, during a recent trip to Wimbledon.
The former England captain, 47, is well known for his multiple inkings, yet the small design of a young girl wearing a dress and high heels adorning his palm holds a special meaning, after the cheerful doodle was sketched by his own daughter, aged just four years old.
With Harper set to turn 11, this weekend, many fans have once again taken an interest in the quirky design and even suggested it looks as though the little girl is trying to give her dad a hug with her arms happily outstretched.
Sharing the news of the inking shortly after it was completed, David wrote: “Apparently Harper is allowed to scribble on daddy,”as he shared an image of the youngster’s handiwork.
David’s wife former Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham couldn’t hide her enthusiasm for the latest artwork to adorn his body either, as she proudly commented: “Harper is a true little artist x x vb ??,”
Harper isn’t the only one of the couple’s children to get in on the tattoo action either, as Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz all banded together to design a tattoo which read “We love you Daddy,” back when they were just 16, 13 and 10 years old respectively.
David showed off the inking on Wednesday as he lead the stars enjoying the annual tennis tournament at London’s All England Club.
Alongside stars such as Hugh Grant, Gemma Chan and Michael Parkinson, the decorated sportsman was seen donning a dapper brown suit jacket and white tailored trousers as he watched the latest court action from the Royal Box.
Joining David for the occasion was his dearly loved mum Sandra, 73, as they took up their seats to watch star players Nick Kyrgios and Rafael Nadal fight to bring home the coveted trophy.
