Luka Modrić and the Beckhams catch up on Croatian island
After Real Madrid played their third round La Liga match against Celta Vigo on Friday night, coach Carlo Ancelotti gave his players the weekend off.
Croatia captain Luka Modrić, who came on off the bench during Real’s 1-0 win, decided to jet off to a Croatian island where he caught up with former Real Madrid player David Beckham, who has been holidaying on the southern Croatian coast for the past week.
Modrić and the Beckhams were snapped on the island of Šipan enjoying time with their families on a rocky beach near the Bowa restaurant. They were joined by the restaurant’s owner, Pero Šare, DuList reported.
This isn’t the first time the Beckhams have been to Šipan; they were there last year whilst celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary and were impressed with the restaurant.
David, and wife Victoria have been in the Dubrovnik archipelago this past week with their kids, and a few days ago were spotted with SUPs on Lopud.
Victoria also posted a photo with her husband enjoying a sunset in Croatia.
Modrić was also in the area back in June on a luxury yacht, whilst cruising the Adriatic.
