But Selena Gomez is choosing not to mope over her lost love as she celebrates her 22nd birthday, while getting intimate with a new male companion, Tommy Chiabra.

The singer flaunted her bikini body as she frolicked on a yacht with new pal Cara Delevingne in St. Tropez on her 22nd birthday on Tuesday.

Tommy is the founder and chairman of Royal Yacht and previously dated Gossip Girl star, Jessica Szohr.

Selena opted to cover up with high-waisted cream bottoms paired with a simple black bikini top.

She wore her brown hair in messy waves and shielded her eyes with gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses.

Cara, 21, meanwhile, displayed her model physique in a skimpy black two-piece paired with blue reflector sunglasses.

 

 

 

 

Later that night, the beautiful brunette glammed it up as they headed for a night time cruise.

She covered up in a silken shirt dress featuring an elaborate gold and leopard print design, teamed with extravagant gold heels that laced around her ankles.

Cara donned a black crop top with shiny high-waisted black trousers, teamed with edgy peep-toe ankle boots.

Meanwhile, Tommy sported funky light brown trousers with brown suede slip-on shoes and a black T-shirt.

 

On Monday, Selena wore the same bikini as she sunned herself on the yacht.

Selena looked to have received a giant bouquet of flowers for her birthday, as she was seen sitting with the blooms in her lap.

Cara, meanwhile, displayed her slender frame in the same skimpy black bikini.

She wore her blonde hair loose and wavy and appeared to be without make-up.

The British model later threw on a Chanel T-shirt and island-themed shorts as she danced and jumped around on deck.

 

 

Selena’s decision to spend her birthday in France without on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber seems to suggest they may be having one of their many ‘off’ periods.

No doubt Selena will be looking forward to a more stable 22nd year after her 21st saw tumultuous periods with her bad boy beau Justin and a spell in rehab earlier this year.

And news that Justin threw a raging house party over the weekend with scores of scantily-clad girls and copious amount of booze will likely strengthen her resolve to move on.

Law enforcement allegedly was called four times to his Beverly Hills condo on Saturday night after neighbours’ complained about the loud music and partying.

 

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Selena hit the town on Monday night with Cara.

No doubt preparing to welcome in the actual day in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Selena was spotted starting the festivities at nightspot Villa Romana.

The actress looked stunning in a fitted black dress, which she teamed with a pair of gold high-heels.

Cara was dressed in a sheer blouse and skirt, showing off her black bra underneath.

After their meal, the women were free to party as Villa Romana also includes an adjoining nightclub.

 

 

Selena arrived on the French Riviera on Monday after spending the previous five days on the Italian island of Ischia in the Bay Of Naples.

The dark-haired beauty had been attending the Ischia Global Music & Film Festival, where she wowed in a series of sexy outfits.
