Bella Thorne will soon star in the upcoming “Saint Clare” thriller. The film is set to follow the character Clare Bleecker (Thorne), a quiet catholic college student with a calling for killing. The film is based on the novel “Clare At 16” by Don Roff.

Mitzi Peirone and Guinevere Turner write the film. Mitzi Peirone will also be directing the movie, with David Chackler, Arielle Elwes, Thor Bradwell, and Joel Michaely all producing.

Screen Media picked up worldwide rights to the project, saying, “With such a talented pedigree, we’re thrilled to be continuing our relationship with Cassian Elwes and his Elevated Films banner and working with Bella Thorne again on this powerful project that will captivate audiences,” per Deadline.

Producer Arielle Elwes also spoke about the upcoming project, expressing, “We’re thrilled to be working with the incredible Bella Thorne; she is so perfect for the role. Mitzi is the real thing, and I can’t wait to see what she cooks for what will be a great franchise.”

The upcoming thriller film is set to release sometime in 2023.
